About the Program

Identifying and developing leaders from within your church is absolutely essential for the health and growth of the church. These leaders must have a firm grasp of your church’s DNA, be on board with the mission of your church, and have a solid understanding of Christian theology. The Leadership Development Program will help you customize a leadership training program for your volunteer leaders. This is an overview of the program utilized by Mecklenburg Community Church with the teaching led by James Emery White. This program is structured over the course of an academic year, from September through May. As a part of this program, all participants take the “Theology on Tap” course which is included as a part of this package.
