In the book of Matthew in the Bible, Jesus says "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." We see time-after-time that Jesus has an incredible heart for children.

Every week Mecklenburg Community Church (Meck) strives to make their Children's Ministry, known as MecKidz, an exceptional experience for children to learn about Jesus in a way they can understand with a service that is designed just for them. And as a church Meck partners with organizations around the world that focus on caring for the least and the lost among children.

What better time of year, when we celebrate the birth of the Christ child, to explore what it means to fulfill Christ's command to "let the children come."
