At times ranked as the most-watched show on cable, "The Walking Dead" focuses on a dystopian future where a disease has ravaged the planet, causing zombies to populate the earth to the demise of the shrinking human population.

The Bible doesn't speak to the "walkers," as the show calls them, but it does speak to "wakers." In the series, "The Waking Dead," James Emery White explores one of the most significant themes in the Bible: what it means to be brought back to life through Christ. Christianity is more than a worldview or a philosophy. It promises an actual relationship with the living God, allowing the power and presence of God to course through our veins - bringing us back from the living dead. Yet few people, even those who would consider themselves followers of Christ, have come awake. So if you feel your life - or the life of your congregation - could use a little resuscitation, check out this series.
