Catholic bishop resigns over ‘gay orgy’ scandal

The Pope has accepted the resignation of a senior Polish bishop whose diocese was rocked by reports of a sex party involving a male prostitute held in a priest’s apartment. Grzegorz Kaszak formally resigned from the position of Bishop of Sosnowiec on Tuesday, despite the 59-year-old being well short of the general retirement age of 75. (Day, Telegraph)
