The State Evangelism Conference for the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma is an annual event to serve and equip pastors and leaders. The key verse for the 2019 conference is Revelation 7:9a: “After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb.”

Multiply Vancouver

The Multiply Conference gathers leaders in Canada to be inspired, equipped and encouraged under the teaching of practitioners who are being used by God to bring renewal and missional reproduction to their churches. Every generation is subject to spiritual and theological “drift.” Christ-centered lives and ministries are non-negotiable as we pray into national awakening. Methods and models will change with the times and the culture, but the Gospel of Jesus remains the unshifting message of hope for every generation.

Change or Die Conference 2018

Siebert Lutheran Foundation's Annual Change or Die Conference provides an opportunity for Lutheran ministry leaders to network and learn from each other. The event is a safe place for assembling people and building relationships across the Lutheran denominations. At the 2018 conference, we are excited to present Dr. James Emery White, the founding senior pastor of Mecklenburg Community Church, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dr. White is a proflific author and Church & Culture national thought-leader. He will be speaking on "The Rise of the Nones and Generation Z." Also featured this year is a panel that will explore what "church culture" means in today's world, how that translates to each generation, and how change and renewal can revitalize ministry.

Church & Culture Conference Charlotte

The vision of the Church & Culture Conference is to take a deep look at the most pressing cultural trends and realities, and how the church must respond in light of these insights. This is all with a clear target on the wall: the evangelization and transformation of culture through the centrality of the local church.

We live in a day that is marked by the rise of the "nones" (those who when asked what their religious affiliation is would respond, "nothing") and the generation coming of age through this rise - Generation Z. Gen Z kids are growing up in what is an increasingly post-Christian culture. Sadly, many churches are facing declining attendance particularly among the younger generation. The church needs to gain a better understanding of the characteristics of this generation, and the changes that must be made if they are going to be reached for Christ.
