The first three biographies of Jesus in the Bible, named after the three men who wrote them (Matthew, Mark and Luke) give us the life and teaching of Jesus.
But there was a fourth account, radically different than the other three, written by the last surviving disciple. It is the final gospel in the New Testament, also known by the name of the author, the gospel of John.
And ninety percent of what it holds about the life and teaching of Jesus is not found in any other account.
The Bible tells us that John was the disciple Jesus loved, arguably His best and dearest friend. John was present at the most intimate of moments in Jesus' life, even at the foot of the cross where Jesus asked John to watch over His mother, Mary. At the end of his life, as the last surviving disciple, he gave the final eyewitness account. Looking over the other three accounts of the life of Jesus, John told the untold story.

At first glance, the plot isn’t anything that stands out above the normal mystery fare: The murder of a curator at the Louvre in Paris leads to a trail of clues found in the work of Leonardo da Vinci and to the discovery of a centuries old secret society. But that’s only one of the ways Jesus is under fire in our day.
There is the “Jesus Seminar” which claims that the Bible’s record of Jesus is dubious at best, the storm of Islam where converts to Christianity do so at the risk of their life, the annual reports in Time and Newsweek that openly question whether the tomb was really empty that first Easter morning.
